The 2017 Youth Camp took place at Arctic Arrow farm, June 8-15th with a total of 8 riders. The campers had the privilege of receiving instruction from AIHAs very own Bernie Willis and Janet Mulder, both FEIF International Trainers Level 1, as well as Dr. Susan Dent, Veterinarian and CTR (Competitive Trail Riding) Judge. Dr. Dent came to Youth Camp and conducted a special trail ride and mini CTR for the riders. Willis instructed the lunging and oval track riding, Mulder instructed the trail course, arena figure activity, ride etiquette and a bit of gymnastic caveletti work. Campers also spent time on the lake boating, swimming, leather crafting and painted horse brushes.
